Visitors centers

The park hospitality is realized through a series of activities whose purpose is to inform, introduce and direct the viewer to discover the territory and its features and peculiarities. Every village in the park has a visitors center dedicated to a particular theme that represents the history, ethnography, naturalistic and anthropological aspects.

MUSEUMS AND ECOMUSEUMS

On the territory there are, in addition to visitors centers, other museums and ecomuseums that offer special exhibitions dedicated to the most curious features of the territory. They are really small and fascinating realities that take you to hidden and ancient worlds, also with a bit of innovation.

A wildlife park can be defined as a structure that aims to conserve a natural resource, such as a group of animals at risk of extinction, and carry out scientific research. These two activities are usually associated with environmental education for school children and adults.

CREST PATH OF THE VAJONT DAM

You can visit the vajont dam area in erto e casso (pn) to know the tragic events that in 1963 hit and forever marked this land. Not to forget. The “memory informants” will take you on the top of the dam that still dominates the sluices of the vajont valley.
