Nearby there is also the Regional Nature Reserve of the Cellina Gorge (304 hectares), managed by the Park itself.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e092603 elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"e092603\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-71f7d9b elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default elementor-invisible\" data-id=\"71f7d9b\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\" data-settings=\"{&quot;animation&quot;:&quot;fadeIn&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-361d5a1\" data-id=\"361d5a1\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3864ecf elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"3864ecf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h1 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">TERRITORY<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-77d0b8f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"77d0b8f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Il Parco Naturale delle Dolomiti Friulane \u00e8 un vero e proprio paradiso per l\u2019escursionismo di tipo naturalistico ed il trekking; attivit\u00e0 garantite da un\u2019adeguata rete di sentieri e da numerose strutture d\u2019appoggio (casere, ricoveri, bivacchi).<\/p><p>Il territorio, considerato di grande interesse geologico, ambientale e naturalistico, \u00e8 caratterizzato da un alto grado di <strong>wilderness<\/strong>, particolarmente percettibile grazie all\u2019assenza di strade di comunicazione (sono presenti solo alcune vie di penetrazione in fondovalle e piste di servizio non collegate tra le grandi vallate) e difficilmente riscontrabile, per estensione, in altre zone dell\u2019arco alpino. La catena dei Monfalconi con il Campanile di Val Montanaia, le praterie di alta quota di \u201cCanpuros\u201d, i pascoli di malga Senons e la solitudine dei Canali di Meduna, ne fanno un ambiente unico. Collegata al Parco vi \u00e8 inoltre la vicina\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.riservaforracellina.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nature reserve of Valcellina gorge<\/a>significant and spectacular engraving that the Cellina stream has dug in the limestone layers among Barcis, Andreis and Montereale Valcellina before its outlet in the Friulian plain. The morphology of these mountains reveals a remarkable and continuous evolution of the territory demonstrated by the presence of faults, thrust faults and fractures in opposition to moraines and earth pyramids due to the excavation and deposit of ancient glaciers; peaks and dolomite towers ( Campanile of Val Montanaia), as well as rock layers with many different characteristics (the San Daniele \u201cbooks\u201d) also indicate an intense alpine erosion.\n\nThe area is affected by three major tectonic lines: \u201cUpper Tagliamento line\u201d, \u201cOverthrust Duranno Monte Alto Meduna\u201d and \u201d Periadriatic Overthrust (or fault)\u201d. The latter can be easily identified in the Andreis area, south of Mount Raut, which determines a singular landscape. Another factor that has characterized the geomorphological aspect of the inland areas, was the widespread presence of glaciers, lasted until a few thousand years ago, in all the valleys of the pre-Alpine area.<\/p><p>The proofs are highlighted by some  valley sections and large and small glacial \u201ccircuses\u201d modeled in the mountainous sides. A sign of the great naturalness of the park environment is the Golden Eagle consistency; in every valley is estimated the presence of a breeding pair. The existence of a well-structured and essential population of Golden Eagle, detectable by the occupation of all territories available, clearly indicates environmental health and the presence of a
